Join L'Apéro les Trois for Coq au Vin Sunday Supper. We’ll begin with an apéritif because that’s what we do! Then, sit down with friends and family to join together in a French-style Sunday Supper of Coq au Vin. To make the Coq au Vin, chicken quarters, browned with housemade pancetta, are slowly simmered with fresh herb and Berryessa Gap Vineyards’ Zinfandel, and, near the end, when the sauce is thick, pearl onions and button mushrooms are added to finish the dish. We’re serving our version with Parsley Potatoes, followed by a green salad and for dessert, Cherry Clafouti. Wine will be available to purchase by the carafe and by the glass.
As someone said about our previous Sunday suppers, ‘It’s different than going to a restaurant—more like going to someone’s home.’ And that is just how we see it too.
